BOY SCOUT TROOP 29
Boy Scout Troop 29 is chartered by Calvary Presbyterian Church and meets on Monday nights at 6:45 pm in the Scout Room of the church. Calvary Presbyterian Church has been the charter institution for BSA Troop 29 for over 52 consecutive years. The Troop's year round program is available to boys who have completed the fifth grade or who are 11 through 17 years old. The program achieves the BSA's objectives of developing character, citizenship, spiritual values, and personal fitness qualities among youth on a vigorous program of outdoor activities. THISTLE CLUB
The Thistle Club is an organization for men. It usually meets at the church at 8:15 a.m. on the second Saturday of the month (September through May). Following a delicious meal cooked by one of the members, the group engages in a discussion. All men are welcomed. Check the calendar each month for exact meeting times.
PRESBYTERIAN WOMEN
Calvary Presbyterian Women is a part of Presbyterian Women of the Presbytery of Kiskiminetas, of the Synod of the Trinity and the National Presbyterian Women's Association. The Coordinating Team plans the yearly programs, decides on Mission Projects and receives contributions to fund them. We receive an annual Mission Assignment from the PW in the Presbytery and also do local mission.
For those women who are interested, we have 4 Circles meeting at various times. You do not have to belong to a circle to be a part of Presbyterian Women. You are invited to attend the special gatherings we have 4 times a year. The Circles we currently have are:
Circle 4 – Mrs. Jean Williams is the coordinator. This circle is for couples and singles and is always a Covered Dish Lunch. Participants are asked to bring a salad or dessert to share and individual place settings. The meeting starts at 12:00 noon in the church dining room on the 2nd Thursday of the month (September through May).
Circle 5 – Marjorie Peterson is the coordinator. This circle meets the first Tuesday of the month at 2:00 p. m. at the home of one of its members (September through May).
Circle 6 - meets in the Chalice Room on the second Monday of each month, except September, when it meets the second Monday, at 7:00 p.m. In June, July and August, the circle meets for dinner at 6 p.m. at Benjamin's Restaurant.
The Spirited Women of Faith Circle meets on the fourth Tuesday of the month at 6:30 p.m. at the home of one of its members. Co-coordinators: Sharon Kahle, 724-464-0141 and Ellen Werner, 724-463-1313.
Circles 4 and 5 use the current Presbyterian Women’s Bible Study. Circle 6 and The Spirited Women of Faith choose various studies.

SATURDAY NITE CLUB
This newly organized group welcomes adult members and guests of all ages to participate in its’ programs. Gatherings take place on the third Saturday of each month from September through June. Light refreshments are part of the evening. The committee promises social fun and a variety of carefully selected presentations of interest. Programs are announced in the Calvary newsletter and church bulletins.
